New Website Lauch and Sketch Galore!
by Tiago on 08/30/2011This post celebrates the launch of my website’s newest version. Expect it to be updated more often than the last one. I’ve been more productive the past year and the new system isn’t such a pain in the arse to update.
You might stumble with a few bugs, specially with Internet Explorer 7 and 8 (seriously, update your browser right now), but it’s part of the process, no stress. If you’re running a modern browser such as Chrome, Safari or Firefox 5, you can enjoy the subtle CSS3 animations, transitions and effects. A few more are on the way and a smooth fallback for old versions of IE is also in the works thanks to Modernizr and maybe a few polyfills. A few jQuery scripts help with the navigation and image loading (notest how it loads the pictures progressively?) and a few Easter Eggs are hidden here and there, with a few more to come soon, I hope.
Other than all that technical mumbo jumbo, enjoy the new portfolio pieces. A lot of app UI design and pixelart. I’ve worked a lot in web design lately, but can’t post much for now, just wait!
To wrap things up, I’ll be posting a lot of lost, dusty pieces I’ve found on my backups that aren’t really worth the front page of my website.
Enjoy! It’s good to have my website back, feel free to comment about it and the porfolio pieces. Thanks!
